AIRCRAFT OWNERS & FUTURE PARTNERS
Flexwing Aviation is exploring partnerships with aircraft owners interested in leasing their aircraft or discussing arrangements that may help offset ownership costs. We start with your aircraft, your ownership goals, and a practical assessment of potential use, costs, and responsibilities.
From an individual lease to a potential operating partnership, every discussion is tailored to the aircraft and subject to due diligence, written agreements, insurance, and applicable FAA approvals. No utilization, income, or cost recovery is guaranteed.
01 · LEASING STRUCTURES
Lease the aircraft without crew. The lessee normally assumes operational control; that responsibility must reflect the actual arrangement, not simply the contract label. A dry lease does not, by itself, establish a particular financing or tax treatment.
Define crew arrangements, insurance coverage, maintenance obligations, permitted use, and FAA compliance in writing.
02 · FLEXIBLE AIRCRAFT USE
An owner retains title and leases the aircraft for an agreed term. This structure can support aircraft use without an outright purchase, subject to negotiated terms. An operating lease is not automatically a crewed flight service.
Agree on usage limits, return condition, maintenance reserves, and residual-value responsibilities before the aircraft enters service.
03 · LONGER-TERM STRUCTURES
A financing-oriented lease can provide long-term aircraft use with payments structured around acquisition economics. Some agreements include purchase options or ownership-transfer provisions.
Deposits, guarantees, end-of-term obligations, and accounting treatment depend on the agreement. Flexwing is not a licensed lender and does not offer, approve, or commit to financing.
04 · ALIGNING OWNER & OPERATOR GOALS
An aircraft owner and operating partner may explore an arrangement that shares eligible revenue and allocates expenses. The objective is to evaluate whether the aircraft and proposed use fit both parties’ goals.
Written terms should define gross versus net revenue, fuel and crew costs, maintenance and major overhauls, downtime, reporting, insurance, and exit rights. No revenue split, minimum utilization, or income is offered or guaranteed.
05 · EXPLORATORY OPPORTUNITIES
Prospective partners may discuss direct aircraft ownership, co-ownership, or individually negotiated participation in a future aircraft project, subject to due diligence and applicable requirements.
Aircraft can lose value, require substantial maintenance, and generate no income. No returns, distributions, tax savings, or capital protection are promised. This page is not an offer to sell securities or a solicitation to invest.
CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES FROM THE START
Insurance: confirm coverage for the intended use, approved pilots, liability limits, and each party’s interests with an aviation insurance professional. Maintenance: document who arranges and pays for inspections, repairs, reserves, major overhauls, and downtime.
Operational control and FAA compliance: identify who is responsible for initiating, conducting, and terminating flights, and ensure the actual operation meets applicable requirements. FAA Part 135 certification is pending. Commercial air cargo operations are not yet authorized. Any future cargo arrangement depends on required certification and approvals.
LET’S START A CONVERSATION
Have an aircraft you'd like to put to work? Flexwing Aviation welcomes discussions with aircraft owners interested in leasing, revenue-sharing, and other potential operating partnerships. We'll explore your aircraft's suitability, anticipated utilization, and a structure that aligns with both parties' objectives.
Share the aircraft type, home base, ownership objectives, availability, and preferred structure. Discussions are exploratory and require due diligence, definitive agreements, insurance, and applicable approvals.
